City Taster

A 2.5 hour orientation walk to show you the key places in Granada, so that you can plan your weekend and make the most of your time. We will see the influences that the Moors, Christians and Jews have had on the city, as well as looking at Granada today - all without boring facts and figures! Key sites and general places of interest will be pointed out and marked on your map, as well as nice restaurants and tapas bars which can be visited later at your leisure. From East to West

A 4 hour orientation walk to enable you to get to know Granada in-depth. As per the City Taster, but we will extend the visit to include some of the outlying districts or “barrios”. Again, key sites and places of interest will be pointed out and marked on your map, as well as nice restaurants and tapas bars which can be visited later at your leisure. The Moor's Last Sigh

A 2.5 hour walk through fascinating Moorish Granada looking at amongst other things, Mudejar churches, the oldest complete Arab baths in Spain, the enclosed gardens (carmenes), the 14th century Koranic college, the ancient aljibes or water systems and the old city walls and gates. Some excellent photo opportunities to record the ancient architecture of Granada. Refreshment stop included and there will be some steep inclines and steps, so please wear comfy footwear. Tapas Nights

An extremely popular tour sampling Granada’s famous tapas culture, chatting about anything and everything, in bars where the locals go! Usually around 2.5 hours long, we stroll between four very different bars and enjoy this most agreeable and charming Spanish custom. In the Footsteps of the Gypsy

Granada has an ancient and considerable gypsy population, some of whom still live in caves in the hillside.

The tour takes you to the museum which shows the life and times of this barrio, followed by a refreshment stop for tapas and then a flamenco show.
